About Us
The Minot Chamber Chorale has been a cherished part of our community since its founding in 1972, dedicated to delivering high-quality choral music to Minot. With over 40 volunteer singers passionate about their art, the chorale puts on four themed concerts each year in various local venues, creating a vibrant tapestry of musical experiences. This spirit of volunteerism not only fuels their performances but also fosters a sense of camaraderie, making the Minot Chamber Chorale a beacon for choral activity in the Minot, North Dakota region.
The Minot Chamber Chorale thrives thanks to the generous support of the North Dakota Council of the Arts, local businesses, and private donors. As a proud member of the Minot Area Council of the Arts, we are committed to supporting other arts programs through collaboration and recognition such as our long-standing relationships with Western Plains Opera Company and Minot Symphony Orchestra.

As we look ahead to a vibrant new season, we want to share an important update: our beloved Artistic Director has stepped down from his role to pursue other opportunities. We are deeply grateful for his leadership, creativity, and passion, which have helped shape the musical heart of our community.
While transitions can be bittersweet, we’re embracing this moment as a powerful opportunity for renewal and growth. In place of a single director, we’re thrilled to welcome a diverse and talented group of guest music directors who will lead our concerts throughout the season. Each brings a unique background, fresh perspective, and deep love for choral music—promising a year filled with rich variety and inspiring collaboration.
